In Memory of Ellen Hultman.
I have such fond memories of first meeting Ellen, when I just started dating her daughter Iréne (now my wife of thirty three years.) She welcomed me without hesitation and was always kind and thoughtful. That impression only grew with time. I came to know Ellen over the years, whether we were visiting her and the family in Sweden or when she took a few trips to the USA, where she met my parents, my sisters and their families, Many fond memories were made and since cherished. She was also so important to our son Karl, who grew up knowing and becoming close to his mormor on many trips to Sweden, starting when he was a baby up until his late teen years. Ellen was always so thoughtful and caring and made a wonderful difference in my life, the life of my wife, son and those that knew her.
Rest in peace Ellen, you will be missed dearly and your memory will live on 🙏🏼️❤️❤️🌸

Ellen graced us with her love, kindness and generosity when we visited with her on her trips to NY. We treasure the Christmas gifts she crocheted and her many lovely cards.
Thank you Iréne and John for including her in our lives ❤️🙏

Our memories of Ellen;
We are sorry that we are an ocean away and cannot attend Ellen's funeral today, but please know our hearts are joined with you, her family and friends at this sad time .
We would like to share with you our thoughts of Ellen;
We had memorable and beautiful days together celebrating Christmas in Atlanta in 1997. Our children were young, and we will always remember Ellen for welcoming our
family into hers. We remember Ellen's upbeat smile and fun loving presence as we climbed Kennesaw Mountain and gathered around a civil war cannon for a family portrait.
We cherish our memories of her in her beautiful gifts of handmade cards with needlework and the " liten spetsduk" made with lasting love.
She is the Mother of our most dear Sister-in-law Iréne, who has brought so much joy and adventure to our family. Ellen's creative spirit lives in Iréne and her grandson Karl, both free spirits with courage determining their own paths in life. It's our great fortune that Iréne and our little brother are together. A perfect compliment. She has graced us all.
Sending love, strength and condolences to all of her family and friends.
